Occupation: LA County Public Works Civil Engineer and LACERA Trustee
I'm your elected Trustee and Vice Chair of the Board of Investments. With 12 years of County service, I understand the importance of retirement security after a lifetime of public service. Coming from a working family, I know that financial security matters. I am committed to protecting our retirement benefits.

Through prudent board oversight and disciplined investment management, LACERA successfully navigated market volatility, inflation, geopolitical conflicts, and economic uncertainty, strengthening the long-term security of our pension.
I advocated for members beyond the boardroom, participating in Washington, D.C. advocacy that helped repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision and Government Pension Offset, restoring Social Security benefits earned by public employees.
As we face rapid technological change, economic uncertainty, and new challenges ahead, strong investment governance and responsible stewardship of our pension will be more crucial than ever.
